Shibarium Will Arrive Later This Month

The Layer 2 network development team of Shiba Inu (SHIB), Unification, announced that the Shiba Inu Shibarium test and public network will launch in late September. This is the layer 2 solution of the Shiba Inu ecosystem, which is specially designed for providing new opportunities to the huge puppy meme coin community.
Unification is the company in charge of advising the Shiba Inu team with the creation of their own layer 2 network. Thanks to them, they have successfully passed several stages of private tests. According to the statement, plans to launch the public beta test network in the third quarter of 2022 remain on track.
When Will The Shibarium Net Be Ready?
With the launch of the Shibarium public beta testnet, developers will have the opportunity to conduct open tests. Each of these allows bugs to be detected and identified before release, which to avoid possible exploits and more. With this, they seek to create a layer 2 network that is robust and secure enough to guarantee its optimal operation at the time of the actual launch.
Once the testing process is complete, Shibarium will be ready to be launched, and with it endless possibilities and tools for the Shiba Inu ecosystem. The launch of the network could mean a before and after for the project of what is commonly called the puppy meme coin.
Shiba Inu Abandons Meme Coin Dialectics
The Shiba Inu project has been in constant development since the moment of its release. Despite being born as a meme coin to deal with another meme coin (DOGE), its objectives have changed significantly over time. Currently, it is a stable project and has one of the largest communities in the crypto market.
The arrival of Shibarium will put an end to the Shiba Inu “meme coin” label, as it is a layer 2 blockchain similar to Polygon in terms of functionality. In it, all the projects of the ecosystem are expected to be implemented, such as NFTs, the metaverse, play-to-earn games and much more.
