Cardano (ADA)

Cardano (ADA) is the first third generation cryptocurrency, this has been built on a different and innovative blockchain. In addition, it is also considered the first scientific blockchain cryptocurrency. On the other hand, it is also characterized by being one of the most interesting projects, and this has allowed it to quickly position itself among the ten cryptocurrencies with the largest capitalization.

When referring to altcoins like the Cardano token, called ADA, it is important to differentiate the cryptocurrency from the project. Therefore, the first thing you must understand is that it is one thing to talk about ADA, referring to the alternative cryptocurrency in question, and another is to refer to the project that is hidden behind it, called Cardano.

Cardano: The Project

Cardano-hard-fork

Cardano is the first project and cryptocurrency (ADA) that has gone through a process of scientific review, development validation and data verification; process that many cryptos have overlooked. This certifies that the project has a scientific blockchain, since it has undergone reviews and validations since its inception, development and up to the current date.

The idea comes from the co-founder of Ethereum, Charles Hoskinson, who together with Jeremy Wood decided to develop the project in 2015 with the company IOHK.

However, it was not until two years later that the development of what is now known as Cardano was completed; and on September 23, 2017, the first Cardano token was mined, that is, an ADA.
