It is possible to create smart contracts from the Lighting Network, Bitcoin’s layer 2 solution. In addition to that, many multi-chain applications allow BTC to be incorporated into their decentralized protocols. In other words, Bitcoin has everything it takes to remain the leading cryptocurrency.
Bitcoin (BTC) Price Prediction For 2030
There are many predictive models that refer to the price of Bitcoin in a few years. Some are closely related to the market capitalization and dominance of Bitcoin. From this approach, it is possible to make some calculations and estimates about the BTC price in the year 2030. According to each of these, the prediction indicates that Bitcoin is going to take off.
It is expected that by 2025, Bitcoin will exceed its last maximum peak after the Halving of 2024. From here it could mark a new maximum near USD 100,000, before correcting. Many analysts expect the cryptocurrency market capitalization to reach $200 trillion by 2030.
In this way, and based on current data, it is not unreasonable to think that the price of Bitcoin will reach USD 250,000 by the year 2030.
