The United States fast food chain, Taco Bell, plans to offer legal marriages within the Decentraland metaverse. Through this innovative initiative, the two companies seek to offer American couples the possibility of legally marrying within the virtual environment. Everything, designed to suit clients.
Through a statement, Taco Bell invites all couples to participate in a contest to win the first legally recognized wedding package in the metaverse. The experience will feature a ceremony and reception within a virtual space at Decentraland. The ceremony and banquet will include NFT Invitations and wedding attire for the occasion.
How To participate For The First Taco Bell Wedding In The Decentraland Metaverse?
To participate in the first wedding package within Decentraland, engaged couples must fill out a registration form. Alongside this, add a video about their love story, why they want to get married in the metaverse, and their passion for Taco Bell. Finally, submit the requests to the event’s website. They will also be able to share their video on social media using the hashtag #TacoBellMetaverseWeddingContest, and add the social media video link to the website.
Once the winners are selected, Taco Bell will do everything necessary to create the wedding of her dreams, within the virtual space of Decentraland. This includes outfit design, invitations, decorations, and choosing an officiating priest for the event.
What Will Virtual Marriages Look Like In Decentraland?
Within the virtual space of Taco Bell in Decentraland, the bride and groom will be able to bring their virtual guests. Participants will be able to enjoy all the traditional wedding day activities, such as dances, music and virtual food. Each event will be broadcast live and the newlyweds will receive a keepsake of the marriage certificate in the form of a Non-Fungible Token (NFT). The union will be legal and supervised by a licensed wedding officiant, so it will be recognized as a royal ceremony within the United States.
