- The latest news about cryptos is on our Telegram channel.
Ledger Nano X offers cold storage for cryptos with the installation of more than 100 applications simultaneously in more than 5,500 different tokens -among them Bitcoin, Ethereum, Polkadot, Litecoin, and non-fungible tokens (NFTs).
Ledger Nano X is the highest-end hardware wallet from the Ledger manufacturer. It has absolutely everything so that your cryptos are stored safely.
Have you ever looked at the list of compatible coins with Ledger Nano X? Here you will find a table with all the cryptos that are compatible with this crypto wallet from Ledger, one of the main competitors of Trezor.
Ownership of cryptocurrency means owning private keys to digital assets in a blockchain. For the security of the assets, Ledger Nano X keeps them away from internet connectivity. Storing private keys in hot wallets –connected to the internet- makes them vulnerable to hacking.

About Ledger Nano X, The Highest-End Model Of Crypto Wallet From Ledger
Ledger Nano X connects to the phone via Bluetooth with an easy-to-use screen interface and Ledger Live app - allowing users to buy, trade, or lend their digital assets. The hardware wallet also features smart services like DeFi applications.
Ledger Nano X is the highest-end hardware wallet from the Ledger manufacturer. It has absolutely everything so that your cryptos are stored safely.
Ledger Nano X is based on a secure operating system called BOLOS and Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) connectivity for Android and iOS. The wallet requires no cabling. How secure is the wireless connectivity, and is it safe from hackers?
Security Of Ledger Nano X Wireless Connectivity
Of importance to note is that users' private keys never pass through the Bluetooth connection - only public information. At the core of the Ledger Nano X's security is the Secure Element (SE) – requiring users' consent to execute orders. SE is the component that stores private keys, and users receive any command sent to the SE.
For the Bluetooth connectivity in the Ledger Nano X wallet, authentication is enhanced through the pairing process – a means of numeric comparison that ensures compatibility with AES (Advanced Encryption Standard) encryption specification of electronic data.
Slightly different from the Nano S series, Nano X has two chips – Secure Element (ST33J2M0) and a double-core MCU for wireless support (ST32WB55). The former stores the private keys and executes cryptographic commands, while the latter connects the smartphone device or desktop to the SE. Simply put, the Bluetooth connection is a transportation layer carrying public information.
Nonetheless, users still uncomfortable using the wireless option on the Ledger Nano X can deactivate it and connect with a USB type C cable directly to their computer.
