Algorand (ALGO) is a blockchain project that seeks to respond to the dedicated blockchain trilemma, due to this its price prediction is positive. Since its launch in 2019, it has had a difficult time recovering the price of its ICO.

To understand the Algorand project, you have to understand the reason for its main objective. To begin with, the effectiveness of a network can be quantified based on 3 simple aspects: speed, security and decentralization.
However, these aspects are antagonistic to each other, in such a way that a fast and secure network cannot be decentralized. Simply put, most networks can meet a maximum of 2 aspects.
The Algorand project seeks to create a fully functional network that complies with these 3 aspects, using a unique consensus method. The “pure proof of stake” (PPoS) is a consensus model where the main shareholders have the largest participation in the validation process.
In other words, the more SOMETHING you have blocked, the more likely you are to be chosen to validate a transaction. According to the Algorand approach, it is unlikely that owners of large capitals would risk losing everything by committing fraud.
Algorand (ALGO) Price Prediction For 2025
The native Algorand token, ALGO, is currently in the $0.36 range. He has had great difficulty recovering the initial price of his ICO at $3.15, having peaked at $2.38 during the 2021 bull run.
According to the former head of operations of the Algorand Foundation, Chen Fangfang, the drop in the initial price of ALGO was due to the irresponsibility of the first sponsors of the project. These participated in the private pre-sales and sold massively during its launch, exposing the initiative to excessive risks.
In 2021, El Salvador declared that Algorand would be the foundation for the country’s cryptocurrency infrastructure. This was the catalyst that led SOMETHING to $2.38. That same year, an update was released that allowed improving the use of smart contracts, with the implementation of the Python and Reachlanguages. It is expected that with this, there will be new launches within the network throughout 2023 and 2024.
That said, by 2025 the Algorand ecosystem should already have a well-formed infrastructure and user base. By then, it could recover the $1.62 range, or even retest its last peak above $2.
