The launch of the public beta of Shibarium, the layer 2 solution from the developers of Shiba Inu (SHIB) , is getting closer to reality. The messages from developer Shytoshi Kusama point to a release imminent, and although we are months behind, everything points out that Shibarium will be able to be tested very soon.
Developer activity at Shibarium has been on the rise in recent weeks, leading to a recent meeting between Shytoshi Kusama and the blockchain team Unification from which it has been known that the release date of the Shibarium beta is getting closer.
The Final Touches With Unification Before Launching The Shibarium Beta
Ringoshi Toitsum, operator of one of the Unification blockchain validators, posted a series of tweets showing the latest messages from Kusama, the visible head developer of Shiba Inu, regarding his integration with this technology:
In them, Kusama assures that Unification will be key in the future of Shiba Inu. Regarding its integration in view of the launch of the Shibarium beta, it has been learned that recently there was a meeting between both teams to finish aligning priorities with a view to the arrival of this new deployment.
According to the ShibArmy community, the launch of the Shibarium beta could take place on February 14, 2023, coinciding with on valentine’s day. That, at least, is what has begun to be rumored since Kusama momentarily modified his bio on his Twitter to make a reference to this date.
Shibarium, The Shiba Inu (SHIB) Layer 2 Solution
Shibarium will mean the arrival of the long-awaited layer 2 to the Shiba Inu ecosystem, thus adding to other novelties that its developers are working on such as their metaverse or the recently released game Shiba Eternity.
