The project’s native cryptocurrency SHIB is an Ethereum-based ERC-20 token used for powering transactions in the meme ecosystem. So who owns the most Shiba Inu? The platform lets token holders voluntarily burn their digital assets to reduce the circulating supply. According to Shiba Inu burn tracker, Shibburn, 410 trillion SHIB tokens have been removed from circulation, leaving 549,063,278,876,302.

Data from CoinCarp shows the largest address holding Shiba Inu is a dead wallet used by Buterin to burn his stash of the meme token – equivalent to 40% of the total supply. The second wallet address is based on Binance and holds 55,926,053,916,777 SHIB Inus or 5.59% of the total supply.

In the third position, it is followed by another whale with 32,772,261,996,001 or 3.28% of the total circulating supply. The top 5 Shiba Inu investors have a total holding of 55.36% of the circulating supply, equivalent to more than 300 trillion tokens.
